The only thing little about this bed is the UVB (burning) ray-- with less than 1% UVB, your tan lasts MUCH longer because your skin does not exfoliate as quickly. There is virtually no burning with high pressure beds, and nearly everyone sees a tan the first time! This bed has 46,000 watts and is 8 feet high, 8 feet long, and 6 feet wide. The canopy is stationary (great for claustrophobic wanna-be-tanners). We have added an optional exerciser at the foot of the bed (not shown). The reason for this addition is for increased circulation. Skin needs oxygen to produce melanin; therefore, improved circulation aids the tanning process as the blood carries oxygen to the cells.

The very versatile HYBRID bed . . . try a 10 minute maximum as shown with high pressure lamps in the canopy and medium pressure lamps in the bed section. Or, for an ALL high pressure tan, you can use just the canopy, with a mattress over the bed section for comfort. The timer signals you halfway through this 20 minute maximum session so you know when to turn over.
