The canopy is stationary (great for claustrophobic wanna-be-tanners). We have added an optional exerciser at the foot of the bed (not shown). The reason for this addition is for increased circulation. Skin needs oxygen to produce melanin; therefore, improved circulation aids the tanning process as the blood carries oxygen to the cells.

The 30Q.22 booth is similar to the Hybrid, in that both units contain two types of lamps. The burning ray in this stand-up unit is approximately 1%, with 30 high pressure quartz lamps and 22 VHR "medium pressure" lamps. The 30Q.22 booth has 19,400 total watts. Stand-up tanning eliminates any lighter colored "pressure point" areas on your back. Holding onto the handles above you ensures an even tan under your arms as well.
